LOUD FUEL CO.
HAS A FOREST IN COSTA RICA THAT BANKS CO2. IT’S DESIGNED TO BALANCE THE EMISSIONS FROM ITS DELIVERY TRUCKS. This photo was taken on the 3rd of April, 2012, 1 year and 9 months after it was planted. The tree species in this special mixture were chosen because of their fast growth and other characteristics. For instance, the X-mas tree in the front is a species from Papua New Guinea that grows to very large sizes, over 250 feet in height, capable of storing the captured CO2/carbon for more than 100 years. Reforest The Tropics manages this UNFCCC-AIJ applied research program. Loud fuel sponsored this forest.
